Recently promoted to Internal Communications Coordinator on the Strategy team at the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC), I’ve taken on new responsibilities focused on engaging employees and driving internal initiatives. At the same time, I’ve maintained my external marketing duties—continuing to manage outreach efforts and community engagement to ensure our messaging is consistent both inside and outside the organization! Internally, I help streamline processes and promote key initiatives to create a cohesive work environment while enhancing employee engagement. Tools like Asana have made project management across departments more efficient, helping us stay on track with collaborative efforts. Whether developing content using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, I aim to make every message clear and impactful. I’ve boosted email campaign performance through A/B testing, coordinated events for diverse audiences, and leveraged CRM systems to improve engagement. I also love to gather real-time feedback from audiences using tools like Mentimeter, turning insights into action to increase participation and satisfaction. With an MBA in Marketing from Saint Leo University and a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Jackson State University, I’m excited to continue making an impact—helping organizations connect, communicate, and grow!
